David Van Ness holds a degree in Intermediate Productivity Solidwork from MLC-CAD Austin and an MFA in Sculpture from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. Solo and two-person exhibitions include "Animorphs," Mary Tomas Gallery, Dallas; "Grand Matter," ALLRiSE Gallery, Chicago; and "The Stacking Cow," Conduit Gallery, Dallas. Numerous group shows include galleries and museums across the U.S. and abroad.
David has been the recipient of two Foundation Grants from Brookhaven College. Fellowships and residencies include the Digital Sculpture Laboratory at York University, Toronto, Ontario; and Night for Educators, Fort Worth Modern Museum.
